Agradaa arrived in court in a police cruiser following her arrest. Following his arrest on Sunday, evangelist Mama Pat Agradaa came in court in a police car.
On Sunday, October 9, 2022, the head of the Heaven Way Champion Church was arrested on suspicion of money-doubling fraud. She was transported to court today after spending the night in jail.
By the end of the court hearings, she will know if she will be given bail or remanded. Patricia Asiedu, alias ‘Nana Agradaa,’ was detained after claims of money doubling scheme were leveled against her by various members of the public.
The suspect is presently cooperating with the police investigation. The Police said in a statement made on October 9, 2022:
“Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action and to assist in the investigation.”
