1. John Ikechukwu Okafor was born on October 17, 1961.
2. The late actor had his shot at fame when he starred in the 2004 movie with the title “Mr Ibu.” John Okafor adopted the screen-name “Mr. Ibu” following the success of the movie.
3. Okafor starred in more than 200 Nollywood films and thereby cemented his legacy in the movie industry.
4. On October 15, 2020, Mr. Ibu tried his luck with music and put out two songs known as “This Girl” and “Do You Know.”
5. The late Mr. Ibu was a graduate of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu State.
