History
University practice high school was established in 1976 by the University of Cape Coast as a practice center for the Faculty of Education of the University. The vision of the institution is to become a centre of excellence in moral, academic, and vocational education a school of choice in the Cape Coast Metropolis and the nation in general.
Their mission is also to provide a holistic quality secondary education aimed at excellence and competence through discipline and handwork, producing competent individuals who are physically fit, morally upright, and academically sound to provide responsible service to themselves, family and society at large.
Uniform Meaning
The colors of the school uniform were designed to reflect the vision of the University of Cape Coast, which serves as its mother institution.
